Introduction: Diigo is a social-bookmarking tool that provides a platform for managing and sharing web-page addresses. Also, Diigo has extra features like webpage highlighting and comments, that could aid middle school and high school research projects.

Vocabulary Support for Students
Basic Overview:
- Students have read-only access to your Diigo account.
- Students access your Diigo with the username you selected (i.e. diigo.com/user/insttech) in the registration process.
- Students can access your Diigo webpage at school on a student computer, the library, or at home.
- The registration process includes installing the Diigo tool bar for Firefox or Internet Explorer. The tool bar allows users to easily add webpages and other information to your Diigo account.
- The Diigo tool bar can be re-installed using the links in Diigo help section.
Getting Started: Listed below are the steps for creating and using a Diigo account.
- Go to the Diigo website.
- Click on Join Diigo link at the top of the website.
- Complete the registration and tool bar installation process.
- Share your Diigo account (diigo.com/user/username) with others.
