Introduction:
Photo Story is a creative way to do “Digital Story Telling” with your class. This program allows students to arrange and manipulate digital photos to tell a story, explain a process, or share a concept. The end result is a multimedia project that includes photos, titles, music, motion, and narration played with Windows Media Player .
Examples:
- Peanut Butter and Jelly- Fourth grade students had to explain a process with specific details
- Art Portfolio- Third Grade student picked their favorite pieces of art for the year and briefly described each project
- Principles of Art- Fifth Grade students worked in groups to explain a principle of art using 3 pictures from the Junior Art League of Seattle and at least 2 pictures from around the school.
- Early Humans- Sixth Grade students worked on explaining the history of Homo Sapien Neanderthalls
- George and Martha- Third Grade students picked a book to narrate for kindergarten, first and second graders to listen to.
