Prof. Development Sign Up
Oct 23rd, 2009 by lmmiller
Instructional Technology will facilitate more technology professional development related to the BEX III levy. All certificated staff are entitled to 2 hours of paid training in addition to the 2 hours that come with the installation of new teacher computers. The current offerings are through Dec. 2009. However, more opportunities will be available in the new year. Sign up on the form below by clicking this link.
We are hoping to customize offerings in 2010 based on teacher feedback and identified needs. By taking this survey, you will guide the development of future professional development opportunities.

Clock Hours (see this video for more details)
Participants will be eligible for 2 clock hours for attending one of these sessions. You may attend more than one session. Once you have at least 4 clock hours (including the 2 clock hours for attending the session at your school about your new teacher machine) you may bring a check with you made out to Seattle Public Schools for $2/clock hour. It is always possible to send the form and payment in at another time.
Pay
Certificated staff will be paid for the 2 hours for attending, as long as the 4 hours of pay from the BEX levy hasn’t already been met.

Thank you for offering one that is close to me.
I signed up for 11/19 Podcasting at Broadview Thompson and can’t tell whether the registration went through.
Can we please have some PD on the new 2007 office suite. I work with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint a lot and it is very difficult to start using this new software. Thanks very much.
I really wanted to sign up for the Google calendar/Source/Managing Links, but I had a previously scheduled parent conference. Will the Google calendar/Source/Managing Links session be offered again?
Confirmation emails are typically sent at least a week before the class. We’ll have a calendar of 2010 offerings posted here soon (Rae, yes, we’ll have that course available
